About Plumbforce WA

Yes, absolutely. Plumbforce WA is fully licensed with the WA Plumbers Licensing Board, and all work is carried out by registered licensed plumbers. We also hold comprehensive public liability insurance on every job. You can request our licence and insurance details at any time — we are happy to provide them. All work is certified and documented in accordance with Western Australian plumbing regulations.

We work on all types of Perth metro properties — residential homes, apartments, units, and commercial properties. Whether it's a routine repair or a full renovation, we have the skills and equipment to handle it.

Plumbforce WA is based in Heathridge and services Perth suburbs — from Joondalup and the northern suburbs to the hills, inner suburbs, and coastal areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, give us a call on 0417 912 736 and we will let you know.

Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all non-emergency plumbing work. For most jobs we can give you a ballpark figure over the phone, and we are happy to visit your property to assess the job and provide a detailed written quote at no charge. We believe in upfront, transparent pricing — you will know the cost before any work begins.

We accept bank transfer (EFT), cash, and card payments. For larger projects, we can discuss staged payment arrangements. Payment terms will be clearly outlined on your quote and invoice. If you have any questions about payment, please just ask — we are flexible and want the process to be as easy as possible for you.

Emergency Services

Yes. Plumbforce WA provides emergency plumbing services during business hours — Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. When you call, you will speak to a real person, not an answering machine or call centre. We aim to be on-site as quickly as possible to minimise damage and restore your property to normal.

Our response time depends on your location and our current workload, but we treat all emergency callouts as a priority and aim to be on-site within the shortest possible time. For properties in our primary service areas across Perth and the northern suburbs, we typically aim for response times of one to two hours. When you call us, we will give you an honest ETA right away so you know what to expect.

Drain Questions

The cost to clear a blocked drain depends on the severity and location of the blockage, the method required to clear it, and how accessible the drain is. A straightforward blockage will typically cost less than a complex root intrusion requiring multiple visits or pipe repair. We provide upfront pricing before any work begins, and we never start a job without your approval. Call us with details of your blockage and we can often give a ballpark figure on the phone.

Blocked drains are caused by a wide variety of things. In household drains, the most common causes are grease and fat buildup, hair, soap scum, food scraps, and foreign objects flushed down the toilet (wipes, cotton buds, etc). In outdoor and sewer drains, the main culprits are tree and plant root intrusion, collapsed pipes, soil movement, and general scale and sediment accumulation over time. Understanding the cause is important because it determines the best method to clear the blockage and prevent it from happening again.

Yes — tree root intrusion is one of the most common causes of blocked and damaged drains in Western Australia. Roots are attracted to the moisture and nutrients inside drains, and they can infiltrate pipes through even the smallest crack or joint gap. Once inside, roots grow rapidly and eventually cause a complete blockage. Over time they can also cause the pipe to crack or collapse entirely. We identify root intrusion and clear it effectively, then advise on the best repair options to prevent reoccurrence.

Hot Water System Questions

Yes. Hot water system supply and installation is one of our most requested services. We install and service all types and major brands — electric storage, gas storage, gas continuous flow (instantaneous), and heat pump hot water systems. We can advise you on the most energy-efficient and cost-effective option for your household size and usage needs. If your existing unit has failed, we also offer same-day or next-day replacement in most cases.

There are several signs that your hot water system may be nearing the end of its life or in need of replacement: the water is not getting as hot as it used to; it is taking longer to heat up; you notice rust-coloured or discoloured water coming from the hot tap; there is a leak or puddle around the base of the unit; the unit is making unusual noises such as banging, popping, or rumbling; or the unit is more than 10–12 years old (the typical lifespan of an electric or gas storage system). If you notice any of these signs, give us a call and we can assess whether a repair or a replacement is the better option.
